I posted this a while ago at [info]jacked_up. Don't know why I didn't post it here. Must have slipped my mind.

Handcuffs


Zeke bought the handcuffs at an army surplus store. For five nights now, they've waited on the bedside table. Casey's breath catches every time he sees them.

Last night as he lay moaning face down into the pillows, Zeke pulled on his hair so his eyes turned towards the glittering metal. Fingers dug sharp into his hip, then slid to his knee and pushed it, opening him wider. Casey felt Zeke's mouth at his ear, hot wet tongue and the whisper, "Tomorrow." Casey cried out as he came, molten heat a sweet thing and the fear bright and bitter.

Just had to stop in my frantic struggle to catch up after being away, to comment on this. It isn't my all-consuming major fandom, Sean\Sam is nowhere to be seen *G*, but I was halted in my tracks. Oooooh... this is exquisite... and I don't just mean the heat factor, which is off the scale, but it's also perfectly constructed. I so admire the ability to say volumes in a few well chosen words. And...

It's so hot!

I've gotten very fond of writing drabbles. The discipline can be very bracing, and the challenge of summing up a theme in one striking image. I love reading them as well as writing them. Drabbles are the sushi of fan fiction - carefully crafted morsels of raw story, served on elegant, minimalist plates of words. Bring on the sake!

Oh, you have to have seen the film to get the Casey/Zeke thing. Josh Hartnett is certainly a good-looking fella, and sexy enough in his way, but he ain't got a patch on Zeke. Pair him up with slinky, awkward little smart-mouth Casey, and it's just too tempting. :)~~~
